About the Alpenglow Succulent: The Alpenglow succulent is well-known for its deep burgundy color petals. This succulent makes a great addition to rock gardens or hanging baskets. As it grows, it spreads out and spills over. It gets is name for the glow of the sun in the early morning and late evening in mountainous regions. The leaves that fall off with propagate and grow into more offsets. Alpenglow Succulent Growth Rate: This plant can typically grow in the terrarium for 2-4 months before needing to be transplanted. They have a moderately-quick growth rate once transplanted. Terrarium Specs: The tiny glass terrarium measures 2" tall with a keychain attachment. The plastic base measures just under an inch wide and can easily be detached to show off the plant without the glass done and for easy transplanting. Terrarium Care: Fill a small dish of water up just above the plastic terrarium base and sit the terrarium upright in the dish for about 2 minutes every 3-4 weeks.
