Arnot-Roberts Cabernet Sauvignon Montecillo 2017

Country: USA Region: Sonoma Type: Red Wine Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon Planted in 1969, these dry-farmed vines perch at 1,700’ above the Sonoma Valley in volcanic loam. Destemmed and fermented with native yeast, then basket pressed to 15% new French oak barrels for 22 months of elevage.  A range of floral, savory and earthy notes gives the single-vineyard Montecillo that trademark aromatic profile that is such a signature. Dark red fruits and red floral notes. Big tannins add energy as well as shape to this classically built Cabernet.
