Deluxe edition - Red and Ultra Clear Vinyl Smoky Mountain High' is the discography release from the late 90s Knoxville hardcore band, The Red Scare.Formed by college friends Matt Hall (drums), Kip Uhlhorn (guitar/vocals), Abby Wintker (bass), and Adam Ewing (guitar) in August of 1997. In 1998, Jon Asher replaced Adam Ewing on guitar.They began playing locally; building a name for themselves, with short, hyper-energetic sets similar to those of Sleepytime Trio from Virginia and Gravity Records heroes, Heroin, from San Diego, CA. The played and toured extensively with bands like Orchid, Milemarker, Lightning Bolt, The Locust, Nuzzle, Blood Brothers and more.
