
Large Statement 9-Stoned Desert Lavender Flower Pendant with Navajo Beads
Stone: This necklace is a true statement piece, made with 9 all natural huge Desert Lavender stones. And the beads coming with the pendant are solid oxidized sterling beads. Gobi desert lavender is a new type of turquoise mine discovered in the Gobi desert near Kazakhstan, on the west side of the Altai Mountains. This turquoise is known for its unique pale grey and light purple lavendar color with brown or red matrix running through the stone. The Gobi Desert Lavender has gained mmense amount of popularity from 2017, when it's first introduced to the American market. Artist: Raymond Beard is a registered Navajo Indian. Currently he works out of Gallup, NM. He started to silversmith in 1978, and was taught by his brother-in-law. The first types of jewelry he made were Zuni, needlepoint cluster jewelry and inlay jewelry. As his skills improved, he moved on to making some Black Hills type of jewelry.
