TREASURE !!! A very nice example, Spanish New World Silver 8 Reales COB. Mint; oM, Mexico City Date; nv., c. 1634-1665 Reign; PHILIP IV (1621-1665) ASSAYER; "P" (1634-1665) Grade- I Weight; 24.5 grams. Note; The coin was recovered from a shipwreck.  Unfortunately the provenance is unknown.  It is possible that it was recovered from the Spanish Treasure ship, the CONCEPCION that wrecked on the Abrojas Reef in 1641, some 80 miles northeast of Hispaniola, now the Dominican Republic.
