National Health Education Standards: Model Guidance for Curriculum and Instruction, 3rd Edition The National Consensus for School Health Education (NCSHE) created the newest edition of the National Health Education Standards (NHES). The Consensus was built on decades of collaboration among leading national health education organizations in the United States. Esteemed professionals in school health education wrote this 3rd edition of the standards with three rounds of intense input from hundreds of other professionals across the country.
