WETA Workshop Polystone - Lord of the Rings - Hobbit Hole - Bag End

Winner of seventeen Academy Awards, The Lord of The Rings was brought to the big screen by New Line Cinema and directed by Peter Jackson. Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and manufacture of physical effects for all three films. Each an individual dwelling, the Hobbit holes lend themselves splendidly to creative placement in your cabinet. With a flat back and a shallow depth of only 45mm (1.77""), they can be placed on mantles cornices, shelves and in windows. This gorgeous little environment is an exacting miniature replica of the movie set that can be visited at Hobbiton in Matamata, New Zealand. It was design by the same artists and craftspeople who worked on the movies. Bright round doors in summery hues dot the lush, grassy hillsides of Hobbiton like wildflowers.
