Here is a 3rd Rail 6100 O BRASS Pennsylvania Railroad 6-4-4-6 S-1 Steam Locomotive & Tender #6100. This monster is a scale-sized model of the original S-1 of 1939, a one-of-a-kind prototype that paved the way for the more famous 4-4-4-4 Duplex engines of the late 1940s. The engine and tender together measure over three feet long. It is made of brass and features smoke sounds and a terrific amount of detail. 3rd Rail is a division of Sunset Models and makes a terrific line of brass locomotives and cars. This is the 3 rail version for use with Lionel, MTH, and other O gauge trains.This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. Some internal modifications have been made to the locomotive -- please see the repair card for the details. The tender has had a BCR installed.
