Striking Green Tourmaline Crystal
Weight: 1.145 grams Measurements: 16 x 8 x 6 mm Origin: Jaba Mine, Afghanistan Comments: This very enticing gem crystal has an impressively steep pyramidal termination that is in great shape. There's just a little chatter on a few edges under magnification. Overall the specimen is extremely clean. There is only one very shallow surface fracture, which can hardly be noticed in-person because of the great form, and electric green color. The crystal exhibits a vibrant, crisp grassy green color, through the AB-axis, and shows a slightly lighter green color along the C-axis -- which is wide open. This piece could also serve as eye-clean facet rough, though I decided that nature did a pretty great job on this one already, so I am offering it as-is.
