Lovingly bundled with reindeer moss, dried blue turkey tail mushroom, and holding the tiniest velvet soft willow bud.*The name Calypso was chosen carefully and has secret meaning in honoring the beauty of the world of fungi. It means to cover and conceal, which mushrooms do to decaying matter as they work their magic. It also means to hide, just like the complex network of hidden mycelium beneath our feet.Calypso was made out of a real walnut and is a one of a kind fine art sculpture with glass eyes and delicate painting and hand blushing work. This little one comes gift packaged with a beautiful handwritten card with "The Story of the Walnut Sprite" sealed with a wax stamp and pressed foliage accented in gold.
