Brown Bat

Also known as the little brown bat, the brown bat is a fairly small member of the Vespertilionidae family that can be found all over North America. In fact, brown bats are believed to be the most common species of bat found in North America. Scientific Name: Myotis lucifugus  Characteristics: As with most bat species, the brown bat is primarily active at night and before dawn.
