Red Devil Apple

  USDA Certified Organic The Red Devil apples, in our opinion, is consistently the best flavored of our red fleshed apple varieties. The Red Devil apple flesh is less prominent than other red fleshed varieties, but it still provides a burst of color when sliced.  The Red Devil apple tree is thought to be a cross between Discovery x Kent apple varieties, bred by Hugh Ermen of Kent. The Red Devil  apple tree is an excellent  variety for the kids with its deep scarlet skin and red stained flesh when fully ripe. Wonderful strawberry fruit flavor. Also fun addition to fresh rose cider.  Thought to be inspired by the Red Devil parachute team.
