Painted Fields Curse of Knowledge is our first ever Bordeaux-style red blend, made in partnership with Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky. Curse of Knowledge is a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec. Each of the varietals is fermented and aged separately for the first 12 months. After blending, the wine spends another 6 months in barrels for a total of 18 months in 20% New French Oak. 45% Cab Sauv, 30% Cab Franc, 18% Malbec, 7% Merlot
