Egyptian Creation Ring

One of the oldest creation stories originates in Egypt. It speaks of a vast Consciousness, that becomes aware of itself. This Consciousness is referred to as The Nun- the Primordial Waters and in modern days- Source. Depicted in this symbol as the outer circle that encases all that arises from Consciousness/The Nun. When Consciousness first thought arises, it gives birth to Chaos, known as Apep, the cyclical serpent able to sustain and generate itself on Chaos alone. Naturally however- from Chaos arises Order and the desire to continue to bring Order forward from Chaos. Order, known as Atum, was born and wanted to continue generating more Order- The Creation/Generation process of all things. Atum - in the transcendence process and brought into Physical form was know as Amun- RA. Represented by the Eye of RA/The Sun.
