Demko AD20S 20cv TAD Edition

Andrew Demko’s innovation in the custom knife world includes several unique and incredibly strong locking mechanisms for folders. The Shark Lock, included on the American-made MG AD20S TAD Edition, is his latest design. This self-adjusting lockback mechanism features a stop pin that re-distributes the load of vertical positive and negative pressures on the lock and transfers it into the handle frame where it can be more effectively absorbed. The Shark lock, unlike most lockbacks, is easy to deploy and not hindered in any way. The knife opens and closes as fast as a frame lock on bearings. The Shark lock requires little effort to disengage; just pull back on the natural ramp and swing the blade closed. The AD20cv TAD Edition is a stout knife built to handle most any task.
