Available Unconventional Odors: • Li-Ion Battery • Cartridge Discharge Residue (CDR) Tripwire Odor Imprint Devices (TOIDS) serve as training aids for explosive detection K9 teams with limited or no access to live material. TOIDS offer real explosive odor but are INERT and DO NOT present an explosive hazard. TOIDS are non-controlled and require no licensing or special storage. TOIDS have been designed to be an inexpensive and unregulated alternative to live explosive aids. TOIDS are constructed with a laboratory grade filter material that contains microscopic odor particulate matter, which has been suffused via a proprietary method, which is permanently sealed between two (2) stainless steel discs utilizing rivets – NO adhesive is used. Our devices are prepared and packaged in accordance with FBI safe-handling techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
