Two-Day Tufting Workshops

Double your pleasure, double your fun! The two-day class is designed for folks with bigger projects in mind. You can tuft and cover your own cat tree or chair. Or you can use one of our larger frames to make a rug or wall art much bigger than in our regular frames. Two-day workshops Tuft and make a cat tree Tuft and cover a chair Create a large rug In this hands-on instructional class, participants will learn to use power tufting machines to create a rug, wall hanging, chair or cat tree. The 10-hour class will cover the basics of setting up a tufting frame, stretching primary cloth and threading and operating tufting machines on the first day. Then you will have a second day to complete your tufting and work on finishing your rug. Instructions for how to cut, glue, and finish a tufted piece will also be provided.
