2019 was a super aromatic year. It shows in this wine especially. Fresh mint, smoky shiso leaf, intense black fruit, rose and wisteria, spicy clove, and citrus peel. There’s an earthy, chalky loveliness to this wine, but make no mistake… She will dominate you. I would definitely eat food with this wine. Maybe some green curry, udon, pasta arrabbiata, with Edith Piaf playing in the background. Bon Appétit!
