Big Zips 4 - Between The Lines

Inspired by the flight, endurance, and path of the monarch butterfly, artist Linda Shaffer creates a mixed-media collage painting celebrating the journey at every stage. The piece spans multiple panels and incorporates hand-printed papers, washi papers, monoprints, acrylic paint, house paint, and antique and collected papers. Linda's use of diverse materials and techniques reflects the complexity and beauty of the monarch's migratory journey in a vibrant, layered composition. This artwork consists of five pieces, each measuring 36 by 2.5 inches, hung one inch apart.
