My Way

My linocuts are inspired by the strong contrast between black paint and white paper. The hues black and white contain hundreds of color values, lights, and shades. Through my work, I aim to show the specific nature of these colors, and the many different hues hidden within their structure. The color white is very important in my work, and I like to emphasize its material impact on the composition of each piece. This linocut is on heavyweight paper and will need a frame for display.
