Daniels' copy, noted as such ("Friend Daniels") on the limitation page.  A selection of quotes from the plays of Shakespeare, with printed marginal notes and drawings. Ten tipped-in plates. Brown limp suede with gilt lettering to front cover and striking silk brocade endpapers. Measures approx. 6.5" x 9.25". Fading and spotting to covers, with spine tips and lower rear corner chipped. Spine darkened, inner yapp edge worn/dried out. A single institutional holding of this title at the Detroit Public Library (OCLC). "[A Message to Garcia], which had been written as filler in less than an hour, caught the attention of George H. Daniels, who was
