Polychrome Jasper

Vibrant color contrasts create a beautiful display on this Polychrome Jasper from Madagascar. Jasper can form in a wide variety of colors, but this piece has some very unique color combinations with neutral tones, soft blues, light purples and vibrant oranges. This type of stone is a micro-crystalline variety of Quartz, which occurs both as nodules and in ribbon-like deposits within fissures.
