Dimensions: 1" Wide x 8" Long - Open Size. This lid stay is made of steel with a brass finish applied. The package contains one lid support hinge (mounting hardware is not included). This lid stay mechanism requires installation inside the trunk and locks into place when you open the lid. It mounts to the trunk side and lid. Can be used to replace old hardware on an antique steamer trunk, storage box, chest, and more. It is a nice piece for completing an antique furniture restoration or woodworking project.
