The Spyderco Yojimbo features a hollow ground Wharncliffe style blade, with a perfectly straight edge that offers exceptional cutting power even up to the tip of the knife. The handle contour promotes a thumb forward grip, and the knife easily becomes the extension of the hand. The blade locks securely with Spyderco's Compression Lock design integrated into the back of the handle, and is very easy to close shut with one hand, which can be particularly useful in hard working conditions. The blade is made with S30V powder steel, and has excellent edge retention as well as corrosion resistance. This black version has a black DLC coating on the blade and all black hardware and liners.
