They are tender-leaved groundcovers with fleshy dark leaves that grow in tropical and subtropical rainforests in Southern China and Indonesia.  Trailing Watermelon Begonia are fast-growing plants who can tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions and feature dainty pointed and deeply patterned leaves.
