Cold blued drop point with osage handle

This knife has a cold blued finish which gives it excellent contrast to the Osage orange wood grip and brass pins, complete with its own custom fit handmade black leather sheath. This one of a kind knife is hand forged, what does that mean? It means that I took a bar of high carbon 1084 steel and heated it up in my coal forge, then as it was glowing hot I used hammer, anvil and my right arm to shape it into the knife you see here.  With an over all length of 8 1/4" and a 3 3/4" blade this knife is the perfect size for taking out in the woods or out in town, small enough to do fine work but big enough to get things done.
