 1932 Walker Cup Golf Program - The Country Club Brookline, signed by Bobby Jones. Difficult to find program from the seventh Walker Cup matches held at the Country Club in Brookline, Mass, 1932. 16 pages. Program was pasted into a scrapbook at one time, thus the back cover has paper on it as seen in the associated image. Additionally, one page has a picture from a newspaper pasted in which has caused some paper loss on the adjacent page. The program is signed by Bobby Jones, Francis Ouimet (the U.S. captain) and Cyril Tolley. Ouimet was a popular and historic choice as captain of the U.S. team since his epic win at the U.S. Open was at Brookline in 1913. In early Walker Cups, including this one, the captains played in the matches. Ouimet participated in 12 Walker Cups as either a player or a captain.
