Founded in 1981 by Joel Hudelot and Chantal Baillet, this Chambolle-Musigny based estate is now headed by Joel’s son-in-law, Dominique Leguen, a serious advocate for low yields and lutte raisonée farming. Fruit for the 1er cru ‘Les Cras’ comes from 33-year-old vines, creating a concentrated, medium-bodied wine, loaded with floral notes of red fruit, chalk, and spice. Lay down for 5-7 more years.
