A Fleurie native, Yann Bertrand switched career paths to follow in his father’s winemaking footsteps, learning from the likes of Jean Foillard and Yvan Mtras. His 9 hectares are dedicated to old vine Gamay, with some biodynamic principles implemented. ‘Pur Ju’ shows notes of red fruit, plums, and minerals, with laser-like acidity and fresh, fine-grained tannins.
