Stuart Nye Ivy Leaf Brooch set

Stuart Nye demi-parure including a pin (brooch) and a pair of screw-back earrings in the popular maple leaf pattern  Crafted of sterling silver, the set weighs a total of 8 grams and is a beautiful representation of maple leaves found in nature.  The pin measures 2" long by 1-3/4" wide and the earrings are 1" long by 3/4" wide.  The condition is excellent with no repairs, and will be cleaned and polished. Classic Ivy leaf brooch by Stuart Nye of North Carolina. The Nye company has been producing hand-made jewelery based on nature since 1933. This design appears in their cataloge as "maple leaf" , though it resembles an American sycamore or plane tree also. The lobed and serrated leaf is gently convex, with a pinched and folded stem. Hand-incised lines indicate ribs and veins. The back is stamped Nye Sterling, with the name in the company's cloverleaf logo.
