About the Photographer Aletheia Casey is an Australian photographic artist based in London. Her work is concerned with environmental issues and post-colonial legacy, alongside personal themes around family and the notion of home. Aletheia was the winner of the World Press Award for Southeast Asia and Oceania (Open Category) in 2024, and in the same year Aletheia was shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Prize. In 2022 Aletheia won the Environment category of the Australian Photography Awards, and in 2021 won the Head On Landscape Award.
