The Ice Queen has been a known legend for centuries now, appearing in many different myths. Each culture has a different story of hers to tell yet they all portray her the same; cold hearted and selfish. But there is always a reason behind someone’s harsh behaviors. The Ice Queen was not always this distant and harsh, you see, she suffered from a broken heart and to protect herself, sealed herself away in an icy land where she ruled as she desired. Every time she stole or crystalized a man was so that she could protect the maidens who were bound to have their hearts broken by greedy men. Of course people did not see that side of the story and the rumors of the Ice Queen being a vile and jealous creature spread by the very own people the Queen had vowed to protect.
