Tasting Notes:A beautifully expressive Premier Cru Burgundy. Aromas of crushed raspberry, red currant, and dried rose rise from the glass, anchored by forest floor, flint, and subtle oak spice. On the palate, it’s silky yet structured red fruit and savory earth glide along fine, chalky tannins with a persistent mineral finish. Pairings:Duck breast with cherry glaze, mushroom and lentil cassoulet, roasted quail, or Brie de Meaux with baguette. A sublime companion to both rustic French fare and contemplative evenings. Production Details:Harvested from 50–60-year-old Pinot Noir vines on the high slopes (“Hauts”) of Savigny-lès-Beaune’s Jarrons vineyard. Farmed organically, vinified with native yeasts, and aged in a judicious mix of used and lightly toasted French oak to preserve terroir transparency.
