As a production designer, I wanted to combine these themes in a cinematic way and create a scene from a monster movie. Here Francis Ford Coppola’s building is transported to Ocean Beach where it is attacked by a giant squid while an enormous whale approaches in the distance. Two surfers stand quietly, perhaps realizing that this is not the best time to go in the water.
