Blackout Short Sword Trainer

       The Blackout Short Sword started out as a concept model that took form as a polymer trainer.   I sent it to Josh Blankenship of Ankura Knives and he turned in to live steel.   The Blackout Sword is a sword version of Josh’s Blackout knife that is available as a custom from Ankura Knives or as a production knife from Work Tuff Gear.  Look him at Ankura knife.com        The polymer trainer : The 18 1/2” hand ground blade is matched with a flame treated jute wrapped handle.  The jute is infused with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent , phenolic handle wrap.   Blade and pommel feature our hand textured Dragon Hide Finish, hand ground fuller and a patina finish. 24” overall length.
