Cappuccino Mug, Glazed Stoneware with Soft Fluting

  These mugs are perfect for cappuccino lovers.  They have a generous rounded shape that is wide enough to enjoy the full experience of frothed milk and espresso.   Each was hand thrown by Peter on his foot powered treadle wheel, a process that allows him to focus attention on the individuality of each piece, rather than make them exactly uniform.  Each one is given a soft, fluted texture while it is still wet on the wheel.  The durable, lead-free, stoneware glaze cleans easily in the dishwasher, but you may be surprised to find that washing it by hand can be very satisfying.                     Hand thrown in Rockdale, Wisconsin.
