Soda Fired Glazed Zig Zag Rim Soda Mixing Bowls

I call this rim "zig-zag" because the angle created when I make this pattern.  The technique is similar to what I use on scalloped rims, but doesn't give the full rounded shape.  I like the playfulness and visual movement created, and the way the glaze melts over the split rim, accentuating the detail.
