Tapestry 101

Saturday, Oct 25th & Nov 1st1:00pm - 4:00pm (2 Sessions) Project level: BeginnerMax: 8 Students You Will Learn:  This is an entry level course – no prior weaving experience is necessary. Learners will weave a 4 X 6 “ tapestry sampler over multiple sessions. Materials to purchase for class: Frame loom (available for purchase or rent for $15 for duration of class). Cotton warp Beater or table fork Pick up stick (optional) Shed stick (optional)  Weft yarn in three colors (We recommend Gist Array yarn) One warm, one cool, and one contrast Tapestry needle Scissors Tape measure Materials Provided: Instructor will provide handouts and have samples and reference books.  Instructor: Martin Miller Please read our class policies prior to registering.
