The lavender bell-shaped flowers arise on tall flower scapes above the foliage. Afternoon sun will scorch the leaves of this hosta. It prefers a woodland garden setting, or at the minimum, shade from the hot afternoon sun. Echo the Sun Hosta is a gold version of Hosta Shadowland® Diamond Lake. This low maintenance perennial can be deadheaded if one chooses and should have the spent foliage removed after dormancy has occurred in late fall.
