The foliage averages 3 feet in height, with the flowers taking the overall height to 5 feet. Starting in July, a show of pinkish, airy cloud-like panicles can be viewed. These eventually give way to the seed heads. Seed heads can be left for the birds to enjoy or cut the stems to use in autumn and winter décor.
