
Introduction to the Spinning Wheel Class

No prior experience is required. If you happen to have a wheel, bring it to class with you. Wheels will be available in class for practice. Part I is all about wheel anatomy and practice treading, as well as working towards getting fiber on to the bobbin. Part II will be a reminder of plying and finishing, but mostly focusing on advanced spinning techniques of how to measure, record, and prepare handspun yarns for a final project. Mel will also share tips on how you can use Ravelry as a tool to find projects for your handspun yarns. Class policies: Enrollment: Class is limited to 4 people unless approved by the instructor.
