Orthoceras Fossil Bowl
Display Whaler's Locker's elegant Orthoceras Fossil Bowl and enjoy the beauty and wonder of our prehistoric past in style. The orthocerous was the ancient ancestor of a modern-day octopus. Our Orthoceras Fossil Bowl holds all that remains of a fossilized mollusk that lived 400 million years ago trapped in a stunning black matrix. Orthoceras fossils are exclusive to the Ordovician-aged Baltic Sea limestone of Sweden and surrounding areas. Each bowl is packed with orthocerous fossils and finished with a high polish. It measures 4 1/2" in diameter and just over 1" deep. If you decide to use the bowl remember it is made of a natural, porous material, so we recommend using the bowl for dry materials only. Moisture can compromise the integrity of the fossils. Orthoceras fossils reinforce earth energies, helping to balance emotions, increase confidence, and stimulate the mind. Visualize the strength that has formed in the shape of a Orthoceras fossil. Live in the moment and stay true to you
