Helichrysum Soliflore ☽•☾ natural perfume.  a l c h e m y ☽•☾Single note Helichrysum perfume with in house helichrysum extracts of H. italicum and H. angustifolium. The incomparable aroma of Helichrysum, sometimes called everlasting, strawflower, or immortelle, has been likened to maple syrup, pickles, fresh raised doughnuts, honey, hay, straw. Its essential oil is a prized ingredient in high end skincare. Native to the Mediterranean, the feathery leaves of Helichrysum spp. are strongly aromatic. Some have described it as a resinous scent with bitter back notes balancing the sweet heady foreground. Others say it is slightly smokey, with the warmth of incense. I associate the fragrance with late summer, full of romance and August sunlight. Rich, yellow, buttery, spiced.
