Friuli, Italy— Macerated, ramato-style Pinot Grigio from the (in my opinion) legendary Franco Terpin. Blood orange, eucalyptus, cherry blossom, anise with a beautiful, big tannic structure. A beautiful color in the glass, somewhere between rosé and orange. Franco farms organically with a true love for nature. Located equidistant from the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, his land is influenced by the wind coming from the mountains and salt air coming from the sea.
