AV Proyectos 032: Pavilions

The upcoming Expo 2010 in Shanghai will gather together almost 40 projects, designed in just as many different architectural styles, and representing the pavilions of each participating country. AV provides a sneak preview of 12 of these country pavilions, including those from: John Kšrmeling (Netherlands), Foster and Partners, (UAE), EMBT (Spain), BIG (Demark) and Mass Studies (South Korea). In addition, the issue extensively details Juan Navarro BaldewegÕs project for the cultural complex ÔSolar de CaballeriaÕ in Burgos, while also introducing recent competition entries and new projects from BIG, MVRDV and Rafael de La-Hoz.
