Opaque ruby. Powerful aromas of black and blue fruit preserves, vanilla, licorice and violet, along with a smoky mineral quality. Fleshy and broad on the palate, offering pliant blueberry, cherry liqueur and mocha flavors and building hints of oak spices and candied flowers. The vanilla and blue fruit notes reverberate on a smoky long finish framed by slowly building tannins. This wine carries a remarkable complex nose, with balsamic aromas, redolent of black fruit, roasted notes and a very good structure in the mouth.
