That richness works well to play off the generally restrained style here. Dark plum, leather, spice, licorice and lavender bring out the darker side of Grenache, especially compared with the other wines in the range. - By Antonio Galloni on July 2024 Our Tasting Note:The darkest wine in the lineup, med+ ruby core, vibrant edges. The nose is pronounced, deeper and darker with fresh bing cherry, plum and blackberry, dark chocolate, some braised savory notes, star anise and other mixed spices and herbs. Medium+ bodied, bonier and chalkier tannins, a pronounced palate, a long finish, the 1% tick up in abv is also perceptible but in balance.
