93 pts Wine AdvocateThe bottled 2022 Trousseau Singulier was harvested a little later and also destemmed by hand, pressed and put into 600-liter barrels, but unlike Poulsard that likes cold, Trousseau likes heat. Sixty percent of the volume was in open-top tanks with one month of maceration, and the rest was in closed tanks with a maceration of three months. This is earthier, toasty and with notes of dry hay and straw, reflecting a warm vintage with dry tannins.
