90 pts Wine Advocate From 60-year-old vines in the plain that were picked in early September with 13.5% potential alcohol and vinified for six months in stainless steel, the 2020 Gewurztraminer Les Folastries offers a very clear, intense, lemon-fresh bouquet of crushed stones, lemon confit, smoked ham and figs. On the palate, this is an elegant, rich and dense, quite compact but dry and alcoholic Gewürz with 13.8% alcohol and just three grams per liter of residual sugar. The wine is stimulating, vibrantly fresh and also intense, but it doesn't have the richness and expression of a truly great Gewürztraminer. Tasted at the domaine in May 2022. Drink Date: 2025 - 2045
