Here is the score for the 2022: 95 pts Vinous Drinking Window 2025 - 2034 White flowers give way to chamomile, vanilla bean and young peach as the 2022 Chardonnay Sol slowly blossoms in the glass. It opens with a balanced inner sweetness and an elegant textural wave of pure silk, complicated by flinty minerals that saturate as citrus-tinge orchard fruits cascade across the palate. Spicy and intense, the 2022 finishes dramatically long and tactile in feel with a crunchy sensation as the resonance of lemon custard slowly fades. While already a total pleasure today, the 2022 will require further cellaring to come fully into focus. It's simply stunning. - By Eric Guido on December 2023
